Hello. I live on a ranch about 18 miles outside of town with my husband Peter, two semi-wild donkeys, a windmill rescued from demolition and a bee hive. The sunsets and dark starry skies are beautiful here as are the spring wildflowers.
My dad’s family has lived in the Fredericksburg area since 1879 and I spent summers and holidays visiting my grandparents here so I was excited about the opportunity to move to the Texas Hill Country in 2019 from San Antonio.
I have been making soap for 20 years. Soapmaking combines many of my interests including aromatherapy, herbcrafting and paper crafts. I especially love customizing the soap and packaging to fit a customer’s needs and style.
My soap business has evolved to encompass an Etsy shop and custom wholesale soap. In my Etsy shop FredericksburgSoap I sell local soap flavors and gifts. I also enjoy designing artistic soap for independent gift shops, art galleries, furniture stores and vacation rentals.
